About Us – Here When You Need Support the Most

We are dedicated McKenzie Friends offering practical guidance and courtroom support to individuals representing themselves in family law cases. With lived experience and formal training, we understand both the legal process and the emotional challenges that come with it. Our mission is to make family court more accessible, less intimidating, and always focused on your rights and wellbeing.

01

McKenzie Friends are commonly used in family court proceedings across England and Wales. Judges generally allow a McKenzie Friend unless there’s a specific reason not to. We frequently support clients with child arrangements, financial remedy hearings, non-molestation orders, and other sensitive matters where the presence of a calm and experienced supporter can make all the difference.

02

Our services are typically much more affordable than hiring a solicitor or barrister. We offer fixed-fee options and clearly explain our pricing before any commitment. Since we don’t always charge by the hour, you know exactly what you’re paying for — whether it’s document support, case preparation, or court attendance.

03

Unlike a solicitor, a McKenzie Friend cannot give legal advice or represent you in court. Instead, we provide behind-the-scenes support—helping with paperwork, explaining procedures, and offering quiet advice during hearings. You stay in control of your case, and we ensure you're well-prepared, confident, and never alone during the process.

Non-judgmental, respectful, and discreet

we treat every case with care and confidentiality. At the heart of what we do is one simple belief: You deserve to be heard—and supported.
